Our Story

Hi, you! Good morning––or, if you’re night owls like us, good evening––we guess you’re here because you’re ready to up your bedding game. And to that, we say: Welcome. We’re stoked to have you here.

We’re KUUSI, designed and dreamed up by our colour-loving (and staycay-loving) founder who has over 18 years of experience in the sheets and bedding space, plus 25+ years in design and styling. But who’s counting? Well, we are.

A few years ago, our founder recognised the need for non-scratchy bedding (you know the type) that looked good, felt good, and was gentle on our precious planet. She wanted colour, quality, breathability and sustainability––but a brand that did it all just didn’t exist. Not yet, at least.

And so, KUUSI was born.

Designed to help you recreate the staycation feeling in your own home––minus the rough, tough, greyscale sheets––our bedding is made from organic, OEKO-TEX, fairtrade cotton that feels kinda like a cloud, but better. It has that soft, washed, ‘slept in’ feeling before you’ve even drifted off for the first time, so you’ll feel comfy from the get-go without needing to prewash. Dreamy, right? We’re all about that low-maintenance life.
